Education at Hope reflects the "family"
nature of our congregation. This is a church where the gifts
of many people are employed, sharing in the teaching of many
of our members.
Our Sunday Church School is offered from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Classes are available for Pre-School, Lower
Elementary grades, Upper Elementary grades, Junior & Senior
High Youth, intergenerational Confirmation classes,
and an Adult Forum discussion. Many people take turns in offering
leadership for our various classes, and they are run in a friendly,
family-like nature.
Our Pre-School through Upper Elementary grade
students use ELCA curriculum, "Living Faith" which
follows the weekly lessons as read in our worship services.
This year we are offering an intergenerational Confirmation program for any persons grade 7 and above. This is enlightening to anyone who wants a refresher, or to learn more, about the Lutheran church.
In addition to our Sunday morning offerings,
learning opportunities include a monthly Bible Study through
our Hope Lutheran Women, Advent and Lent "Soup Supper"
learning events, and participation in a variety of Lutheran
"Days of Dialog".
